1. It depends on what you're going to use the laptop for. My parents will only get me a laptop if I use it mostly for studying, and not just for surfing the web or listening to iTunes. If you just want a laptop for leisurely activities, you will not get one (unless you're really spoiled.) Tell your parents how you'll use the laptop, and DON'T LIE. Calmly explain that you need the laptop for school, or something. Then show them some websites or catalogs that sell Vaios. Begging will not work at all.
