Laptop Bag for a small woman?
I am 5'2" and I am getting a Mac Book Pro 15.4"- I need a way to carry it, and a cell phone, iPod, wallet and a couple other little essentials around with me while I travel abroad. It does NOT need to be gorgeous, and I'd prefer it wasn't conspicuous at all, actually. I'm trying to avoid being a target of theft while traveling in Japan. However, the bag needs to be as slim and small as possible while getting the job done. And I don't want to ever need to set it down to do something, so it needs a shoulder strap or backpack style straps.

- actually small women fit better in large suitcases, and if you're really thin and flexible, a garment bag...lol
- check out the options at tumbuk2.com. They are durable. You can get a bag that suits you and then just get a laptop insert that is light and compact that fits insde the bag.
- I found something similar to what you were describing in Amazon, it was a Samsonite university bag from ebags. It cost less than 30$ and it is great and not big (and has a special pocket for iPOD)
- I have a mac powerbook which is a pain. I don't like traditional computer bags so I have a variety of handbags which are oversized and it works wonderfully. Since thi powerbook is oversized I try to find more tailored styles of handbags with either strong (hard) materials or I find one with a little cushion to protect the computer from scratching. To find the handbags, I go to Loehmanns or to outlets as they seem to have larger bags especially closer to summer time. Good Luck...
