Laptop for College? Please Help?

I'm a senior, and my laptop right now is seriously about to die. As in, it looks like something you'd kill cause it's too depressing to look at. I mainly use my laptop for Chatting, Music, Facebook, Youtube, those are my top 4. I'm taking a Physical Therapy course, so I don't think there's gonna be too much laptop use. I'm not really into laptop bags (i just don't like carrying an extra bag for just my laptop) And I'd really like a cute, stylish laptop. Something I wouldn't be embarrassed about pulling out in public at coffee shops and something with good battery life (coffee addict here) I was thinking about the Sony Vaio P, since me and my dad walked into a sony store and it instantly caught my eye. Price doesn't matter, my dad was fine with the price. So, any other suggestions? My older sister has a macbook, and it kinda breaks all the time (my sister doesn't take care of it) thus, my dad think macbooks aren't stable, but it's really just my sisters fault.

4. I would recommend you to go for sony vaio SR43G. Its a new laptop in sony SR series range. Its cool,stylish, slim and easy to carry around with screen size of 13.3cm. Dont go for sony pocket series as they dont have good hardware support. SR43G laptop boasts of intel core2duo processor and battery backup of 3.5 hours greater than sony pocket series.
